The Corona Crucible – Sat 6th June

World 6.8 million      Brazil 640K                UK 280K+

The mornings are getting cold now, but the sun was shining again yesterday which made it feel a lot warmer on the golf course.

Monday is a public holiday, so a few people are taking advantage of the relaxed travel arrangements and heading out of the city for a few days. We decided to wait a couple of weeks before we visit Neil’s family. State borders remain closed, so we still can’t visit his mother in Adelaide, but at least we’ll be able to see his grandchildren soon.

Neil and I both had our haircut today. This is the first time either one of us has been to the hairdresser in months.

We had to take Molly to the vet today too. She’s not been her normal bouncy self for a few days. We decided she needed to see the vet. It’s similar to the problem she had a few months ago and it could be a reaction to something she’s eaten. She lost interest in playing ball and she’s moping about, but the vet couldn’t find anything wrong. She’s been prescribed some pain killers. We’ll see how she is in a few days.
