The golf gang had our end of year event and lunch yesterday. Normally the women have a big night at the club with presentations, dinner, a DJ and dancing, but this year coming out of COVID restrictions, we were lucky enough to get together for a proper sit down lunch after golf. As there were no events held through the year, there were no presentations, but we all had a great day. It’s been a long time since we had an event at the club. The last one was Irish Day back in March. The fun day rules only allowed players to use two clubs, plus a putter. I didn’t play very well, but I did win a bottle of wine in the raffle.
