It’s Official! The President of the United States has COVID-19. His wife Melania has also tested positive. One of Lord Rant Dump’s inner circle, Hope Hicks, was earlier diagnosed with COVID-19. Ms Hicks works closely with the President and recently travelled with him and Melania on Air Force One. The President and First Lady are now in quarantine.
Mike Pence, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have all tested negative. However, the full scale of the outbreak may not be known for a few days. Several journalists at the White House have been infected.
Old Mad PR Nut has consistently refused to wear a mask and downplayed the virus. His mismanagement of the pandemic has caused widespread death and suffering. Many people feel that it’s poetic justice he has been infected with coronavirus. I am one of them. But if he recovers he will probably keep downplaying it.
The news this morning after yesterday’s diagnosis, is that the President has been treated with an experimental drug and has been taken to hospital on the advice of his doctors as a ‘precaution’.
It will be very interesting to see what happens over the next few weeks with the US election now just one month away.
Here in Victoria we recorded eight new cases or coronavirus and three deaths. The 14 day rolling average is now 12 and the mystery number is 11.
