Earlier this week I caught up with the golf gang on zoom. It was great to see familiar faces and hear all their news. One friend has been making hundreds of face masks and donating the money she has raised to Beyond Blue, so far she has raised almost $10,000. Very inspiring.
I haven’t done any zooming for a few weeks, but last Saturday the writing group girls hooked up and last night Neil and I attended an online trivia night. I have another online trivia night tonight.
Neil and I have been enjoying tabletennis every day. It’s sunny and warm today so we did some gardening. Neil is mowing the lawns this weekend.
There were 18 fatalities and 94 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Victoria. This is the first time in two months we have double figures. There are now less than 3000 active cases, approximately 1300 in aged care, around 400 health care workers and about 1300 cases in the community.
