The Federal Government cuts to JobKeeper and JobSeeker come into effect as from now. This will make it especially tough for those who are unemployed. The economic recovery will be slower too. If people don’t have money to spend then they can’t spend it.
We’re personally doing okay. Neil has plenty of work and although I have less income from my rental property, I am spending less because we can’t go out anywhere to spend it. With golf still on hold for another few weeks, I am spreading my time between art, writing, playing games, gardening, knitting, table tennis and a daily walk. It’s very much ground hog day after day for another few weeks.
Today we have recorded 10 new cases and seven deaths. Our 14 day average is now 18.2. Mystery cases are now 27.
