The Corona Crucible – Thurs 24th September

World 32 million       India 5.7 million       Brazil 4.6 million

While the new windows are being installed it’s been a good opportunity to focus on some artwork. I made some gift cards and I’m trying my hand at a portrait. The knitting is also progressing. I’ve done about 25 squares in the past couple of weeks. The pattern involves knitting the squares together as you go, so there is no sewing up afterwards.

The weather has gone back to wintery conditions. It’s been showery and cold. Tomorrow and Saturday look bleak. Windy, cold and wet.

There were just 12 new cases recorded overnight. The Melbourne 14 day average is now 26.7 and the mystery case number (8 Sept – 21 Sept) is now 37. We are so very fortunate to have this pandemic under control and so few cases of the virus compared to so many other places around the world. I’m looking forward to hearing what Dan has to say on Sunday.
