I think everybody will be relieved when we can have some more freedom, but if we re-open too soon we will set off another wave of infection. Nobody wants that. Everyone is waiting on Daniel Andrews’ announcement tomorrow. It seems likely now that we might have to wait for infection numbers to come down a bit more before we can get out of Stage Four lockdown. We’ll find out full details tomorrow.
There are still a number of covidiots that could send this whole thing south again. When people don’t know that they don’t know, and think that they do know, it’s impossible to educate them about the facts. While in the minority, their antics have the potential to cause the virus to spread which will only lead to more lockdowns, the very thing that they are railing against. When this pandemic is over I wonder how many of them will acknowledge they were wrong?
