The Corona Crucible – Wed 6th May

World 3.7 million      Spain 250K+  Russia 150K+   Iran 100K+

Coronavirus is transforming our way of life. For those who survive this pandemic and its economic aftermath, planet Earth could become a much cleaner and safer place to live. The human race has an opportunity to stop our wasteful habits and live sustainably. Those who have a patch of land are growing vegetables and many are raising chickens. People without work could be employed to plant trees. Hopefully, more people are waking up to the fact that we can’t abuse the Earth and take her for granted.

In good news for the future of the renewable energy sector the Australian Government has established a new $300 million fund to boost the hydrogen industry and create new jobs.

We had some good news today too. Neil managed to bring forward his flu shot after getting a call from a local chemist. He had his name on their waiting list, so he’s cancelled his other appointment. Now we can visit my mother together this Sunday for Mother’s Day on his birthday.

While Neil was out getting his flu shot, I popped out to buy his birthday present and get something for my mother. I never have any idea what to get Neil, so it looks like it will be chocolates again this year.
