Yesterday we bought a new computer monitor to replace the one that died. The old TV was okay, but the resolution wasn’t the best. The large retailers, Officeworks and JB didn’t have any stock, but our wonderful local computer store did, so I now have a lovely new screen. The manager there said that with so many people setting up home offices, last month was their best ever month for sales.

I am quite used to working at home. I’ve done it for a long time. Before I retired from consulting work, I saw both astrology clients and hypnotherapy clients at home.

Semi-retired now, my days are usually spent playing golf, doing astrology research, writing, knitting, painting and gardening, grocery shopping and cooking. It’s much the same now, except there’s no golf, so there’s more time for walking Molly.

Neil’s daily schedule has changed far more than mine. Now that he is working from home, we are eating dinner much earlier than before, going to bed earlier and getting up earlier. We’re both morning people, but now our body clocks seem to have gone completely haywire. As I write this it’s 3.30am. Neil woke up early too this morning and is currently checking his email. I guess it doesn’t really matter what time of day you do things these days. Time seems distorted. Schedules and deadlines have fuzzy edges. Daylight saving finishes tonight, so we’ll be able to catch up on some sleep.
