Venus conjunct Neptune

Mars opposes Pluto (3rd hit)

7 March 2008

There’s something powerful happening. Venus joins with her higher octave planet Neptune, while Mars aligns with his higher octave planet, Pluto, but in opposition. Both Yin and Yang, female and male energies are operating at a peak now. Key relationships seem to take on universal significance; what is the mission you have you come together to work on? What is the wider purpose of your joining forces?  Some relationships are beginning while others may be about to end.

These aspects are not just about the personal, but about the collective. There is something beyond our personal wishes and desires seeking expression. Relationships take on a feeling of destiny.Dynamic and powerful energies are released while we become more attuned to our ideals and dreams. Now is the time to take action and to join with people who share your dreams and visions, and perhaps say farewell to those who are heading in a different direction.

Pisces New MoonSun and Moon conjunct Uranus

8 March 2008

This New Moon closely aspects Uranus, planet of unexpected developments and breakthroughs. This is an excellent time to look within for insight and creative inspiration. New directions and fresh horizons beckon. Change is in the air. With Pluto and Mars still opposing, there is an “all or nothing” feeling in the ether.

Perhaps there has been a sense of impending change, which now becomes crystallised. There are likely to be significant turning points encountered at this time. The Sabian symbol for the degree is this New Moon, 17 Pisces, is “In a huge tent a famous revivalist conducts his meeting.”

This suggests a time of inspiration to be found as groups of like minded people who come together and are really listening to the message of this Pisces New Moon, understanding the role they can play in creating a new future together.

 Mercury conjunct Neptune

9 March 2008

Once again Mercury joins with Neptune providing us with an opportunity for spiritual development while we learn from our reflections and meditations. Mercury is now direct, and returns to the position where it was located on Jan 26, before it moved retrograde, which was also when Pluto first entered Capricorn. The reflections of the past month or so are now shifting gears. The focus in on ushering in changes that can help make our dreams come true, though this may involve major upheaval in our lives if Pluto is making aspect to your natal planets.         Meanwhile we can now take our vision to a wider audience and see that we are not alone in this major process of unfolding change.  Coming at virtually the same time as the Pisces New Moon, this Mercury Neptune conjunction suggests that our intuition should be pretty spot on.

Equinox

Sun in Aries

20/21 March 2008

The Spring/Autumn Equinox this year squares Pluto, revealing to us the many challenges ahead.  Aries wants to push ahead on its own, Pluto is slower, more relentless, a process of getting in touch with what is really going on underneath.

Be patient with yourself and with others. Recognise that anger and frustration are signals to examine our own lives, not blame others for our problems.  2008 is set to be a dramatic year of change, of endings and new beginnings. As the Sun enters Aries we might feel overwhelmed by the challenges and difficulties that lie ahead, and yet this gives us the impetus and energy to tackle them head on.

Libra Full Moon

22 March 2008

There’s a cardinal grand cross involving Sun and Moon, Mars and Pluto following closely on the heels of the Equinox. This is a potent time when tempers can become frayed and frustrations can boil over.

Creative solutions can come from confrontation, so long as we can keep in mind the bigger picture and are not acting purely selfishly or lashing out blindly. It is important now to try to understand the other side of the equation, and that another’s viewpoint may be just as valid as our own.

Compromises may prove difficult to work out, but ultimately peace and cooperation can be reached, while still honouring our own independence.

The Full Moon always coincides with Easter, so take care if you are travelling over the Easter break as it’s always hectic and busy.

Mercury, Venus, and Uranus conjunct, sextile Jupiter
