Sun sign forecast for Sept 07

September 2007

SATURN moves into Virgo on 3 September where it will stay for the next two and a half years.

This transition of Saturn into the earth sign Virgo signals an influx of the earth element that will gain momentum in 2008 and beyond.

In a few months time, both Jupiter and Pluto will leave Sagittarius and move into Capricorn. In the Chinese calendar 2008 is the year of the Earth Rat.

With Saturn in Virgo the focus is on professionalism and attention to detail. There is a high degree of integrity associated with this combination which is likely to be a time of hard work. There is a highly conscientious flavour to Saturn in Virgo; both Saturn and Virgo are associated with putting one’s nose to the grindstone.

The elements of fire and earth see things very differently and are generally mutually exclusive; we either see the forest, or the trees.

Interestingly, John Howard, who is born under the fire sign Leo, is finding it quite difficult to manage the challenge presented by Kevin Rudd, a Virgo, who turns 50 on 21 September.

September is a critical month that will lay the framework for the years to come.  An election is likely to be called.

As Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto are about to move out of fire signs and into earth signs, so is the momentum is swinging. It seems likely we will elect a Virgo PM.

More on this topic next month.

Following on from the recent Lunar Eclipse, there’s also a Partial Solar Eclipse in Virgo on 18 September, though it will not be visible in Australia.

Aries

Saturn in Virgo ushers in a period of hard work. You will probably have to focus on details and since you are not accustomed to managing the fine print, this may bring stress in its wake. Extra responsibilities are on your plate. Watch you don’t overdo it. Recognise you have limitations.

Taurus

Venus finally goes direct on the 8th so any domestic or family matters that have been requiring your attention can now be more easily resolved. Be aware that things may still come to a head, and could get worse before they get better.

Gemini

Saturn moves into your 4th solar house, bringing long standing domestic and family matters up for review. This may mean you have to sort, reorganise or move. For the next two years the focus will be on your home life to a large extent and you may have to take on more domestic responsibilities.

Cancer

Saturn moving into your 3rd solar house brings the focus and discipline for hard mental work and attending to details. The emphasis is on study, writing, editing, and communication in general. The next two years will be a busy time when you can achieve recognition for your efforts.

Leo

Venus goes direct in Leo from the 8th, so now is a great time to focus on your appearance. Spend money on yourself, beauty treatments, a new wardrobe, social activities, plan a dinner party, get out and about. Enjoy. Love is in the air too.

Virgo

Saturn in your sign brings hard work and discipline, and since you are no slouch when it comes to work, the effect will be one of achievement through continued diligence. The important thing to remember is that you are human. Recognise that you have physical limitations. Enjoy the process.

Libra

Venus goes direct on the 8th in your 11th house of friends and colleagues. This is a great time for socialising, having fun and for community engagement. New ideas and creative projects will likewise be enhanced. Get involved.

Scorpio

Pluto goes direct on the 7th while Saturn enters your solar 11th house. The upshot is that your creative energy will be boosted, while there may be a breakthrough concerning a decision you have been putting off. The answer may involve extra work but you are never one to shirk.

Sagittarius

Saturn enters your solar 10th house this month for a two year stay. The focus is now on developing staying power. Your sign is not known for its persistence, in fact you are one of the most restless creatures of the zodiac, but in order to attain the results you want, you will have to sustain your effort over the longer term.

Capricorn

Saturn in the 9th will bring a sense of renewal and open doors you may have thought were closed. You are crossing a threshold into a new domain where you will be inspired like never before. Travel beckons. Change the scenery. Study philosophy or teach.

Aquarius

Saturn in your 8th solar house will have the effect of bringing about major changes in your life over the next two years. It is time to let go of anything which has served its purpose. Take a fresh look at your life. Let go and move on if need be.

Pisces

The New Moon combines with Saturn in your 7th house so relationships continue to be in focus. In fact Saturn is just beginning its long cycle through this zone. For better or worse, you will be giving serious consideration to commitments and connections and will be more choosey about those with whom who associate.
